Environmental concerns are part of Sanindusa’s values and are taken into account in the company’s policy and industrial activities, in order to contribute for the planet’s protection.
The results achieved represent the company’s commitment and are the starting point for new environmental targets, goals and actions. They contribute to the continuous improvement and sustainability of the Group’s management system and business.
The commitment with the quality of products and services, as well as the concern to improve the environmental performance is supported by the certification of the Quality and Environmental Management System (QMS). In that sense, Sanindusa has an EMAS PT-000105 registration which is a certified management program integrated with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. The adherence to this commitment is expressed since 2005, proving that Sanindusa has not taken their environmental responsibilities as a normative or legal issue or as a recent trendy topic.
EMAS registration and ISO 14001 are management tools through which industrial and commercial development is possible and provide support for a continuous and sustainable growth.
We believe that sharing this philosophy, defining targets and goals and monitoring them regularly, promotes the continuous improvement of the environmental and quality system and also contributes to the expansion of the ceramics sector.
